The JCB engine range has been extended in terms of power and torque output with the introduction of the JCB Ecomax engine family, with additional ratings at 55kW & 129kw.JCB Ecomax engines offer high torque at low speeds with ratings that offer constant power down to 1500-1600rpm allowing for more fuel-efficient matching of transmissions & hydraulic system.

The Ecomax Tier 4 engine requires no after-treatment on all except the 129kW rating, and more importantly all engines do not need to use a DPF, which offers real opportunities for OEM’s.
